ArtyParties offer a fun, creative party setting for your child and their friends. The ArtyParty is an hour and a half of customized art creation in the Studio, followed with the free option of present opening in our cozy living room and a birthday feast (which you provide, or we can provide-see party options) in the dining room. Squeak the Mouse and Stinky the Skunk will make an appearance during the meal, and you can opt to have face painting for the guests as well (see options). There's no muss or fuss...a complete party package with happy guests!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You and your child come to the studio to pick up the hand-made invitations to decorate and send out, and choose the art to be done at the party. Any theme...any ideas can be accommodated! The cost per child (maximum of 6, minimum of 3) is $12.00. All art supplies are included. Up to two adults are welcome to stay and enjoy the party, and it is expected that one of these will be a parent/guardian of the birthday child.
The option of opening presents in the cozy living room, and having birthday food and drinks (which you supply) in the dining room is free, (dishes and cutlery provided...and I'll do the washing up!) as most families prefer to have the whole party at one location. TIMINGS: ArtyParty 1.5 hours + presents .5 hour + food .5 hour = total party time of 2 hours.
There is a washroom beside the studio for your use.
Come 15 minutes early on the day of the party to greet your guests...and enjoy yourselves!
PARTY OPTIONS:
Food and Drink: Fruit juice, veggies and dip, crackers and cheese, chips, and iced cupcakes that the birthday child and guests can decorate themselves! Please call for prices.
Face Painting: Jenn was trained in London, UK at FACE School of Facepainting, and has done facepainting for the Colne Valley Steam Railway for Thomas the Tank Engine events, as well as Champlain Elementary's Fall Fair and the Annapolis Royal Farmer's Market. This option will add about 30 minutes to the party time and costs $2.00 per child. Hypo-allergenic Snazaroo Face Paint is used. Shy child? I can paint the hand and lower arm instead of the face.
